The Real Estate Marketers and Consultants Association of Nigeria (REMCAN) joins all Nigerians in celebrating the 66th anniversary of our nation's independence.

Since October 1, 1960, Nigeria has grown into one of Africa's largest and most dynamic economies, with real estate standing as one of its most important sectors shaping where families live, where businesses operate, and how wealth is built across generations.

As an association, REMCAN recognises that the growth of this sector carries a responsibility: to serve Nigerians with integrity, professionalism and transparency.

In a market that has too often been defined by mistrust, our commitment remains the same, to build a real estate industry that Nigerians can rely on, through verified professionals, ethical practice, and accountability at every transaction.

This Independence Day, we reaffirm that commitment. A nation is built not only by its institutions, but by the everyday professionals, realtors, consultants, agents and developers who help Nigerians secure a place to call home. REMCAN remains dedicated to supporting these professionals and protecting the Nigerians they serve.

We wish all Nigerians a happy and reflective Independence Day, and renew our call to industry practitioners nationwide: verify, register, and build the credibility our sector needs for the next 66 years and beyond.
